Crown Towers is part of Crown Casino, partly owned by the tycoon James Packer. Crown Casino and Entertainment complex spans across 2 blocks of the South Yarra, with a stunning view of the Melbourne skyline while a nightly fire show across the promenade gives the promenade an even more impressive view.
Crown Towers is situated on the Eastern part of the property, right above their main complex. Raising 39 levels, with 480+ rooms and suites, it is one of the most luxurious anyone can expect.
I have booked to stay in their Executive Suite, which comes in a separate bedroom and living room. Their room has an opulent and modern design, with luxurious amenities and jaw dropping bathroom design.
The first room I was in had a TV malfunction, which the technician wasn't able to fix so I was moved to a lower level room with an obstructed view of the Yarra. The living room is spacious, comes with a large working desk, an L space sofa couch that can accommodate at least 5 people, a self service bar and more space left for activities.
A large walk in wardrobe that leads to their spacious bathroom. On the left, 2 separate doors lead to their showers and toilet, while the right house their large bathtub with TV and a large mirror. In the centre of the toilet, you can find their double sink with a chandelier on both sides. All of their knobs and handles give a modern and expansive vibe, aligning with their brand.
I did not have the luxury of testing out their bed as I let my parents take it, the living room is large enough to fit a few people so it wasn't an issue.
The Crown complex is a city itself, you can find all sorts of entertainment from shows, nightclub, cinema, gaming machine, arcade, while their food and drinks selection varies from food court style to Michelin grade restaurants to alcohol bar spreading throughout their gaming floor. You can also find their 2nd 5-star property on the South Western part of the property called Metropol, with a less expansive view, you still get modern and luxury design, while their cheapest property situated behind the Crown Towers called Promenade is a lower 4 star property that caters to people who don't want to throw A$400+ per night on their hotel stay but still have quick access to the Yarra, Crown and all the nearby tourist spots.
